Background
  • BE, BTech, MCA, MS in Computer Science (similar or higher)

  • Work experience in developing test automation suites for delivery of software products
General Tasks and Duties
  • Design, build, deploy and maintain test frameworks, harnesses, scripts and stubs for various products
  • Develop test automation solutions to test the robustness, quality of products, enhance test coverage and reduce run-time
  • Aid developers in preparing unit test frameworks, code instruments and white-box test scripts
  • Develop modular and reusable test automation solutions for functional, system and regression tests
  • Prepare and execute test cases, test scripts and scenarios for individual development projects
  • Contribute towards improving and streamlining testing and quality assurance strategy, processes and procedures
  • Work closely with Test Manager, Test Leads, Project Managers, Product Mangers, R&D team leads covering particular product genres & OS platforms
  • Work with developers and team leads to improve testability of code
  • Evaluate and setup various new test methodologies, QA best practices and procedures.
  • Make recommendations for personal training & development
Key Skills and Experience
  • Hands-on experience in a test automation frameworks, harnesses or tools
  • Expertise in Python, Perl, Tcl/Tk, Shell, C#, or C++
  • Experience writing automation scripts for testing tools such as QTP
  • Work experience in testing mobile and handset applications
  • Passion towards improving product quality

Systems Developers - Embedded technology (BIOS/EFI/UEFI) 


Experience - 5 - 15 years
Technical Requirements
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with PC-class hardware and chipsets.
  • Significant experience in system bring-up and board-level debugging. Must be comfortable with the use of ITP, American Arium, or other JTAG based debuggers.
  • Extensive knowledge of PC BIOS internals, including APICs, SuperIO devices, keyboard controllers, SATA and PATA storage device, and USB controllers.
  • Knowledge of device driver development. Must be able to use structured development techniques to extend the functionality in firmware-based device drivers.
  • Must understand the allocation of resources to PCI, or PCIe, devices, and to system busses in general.
  • Must have an understanding of x86, UEFI, x64 CPU instructions and general architecture.
  • Extensive experience programming in C, C++, assembler and scripting languages.
  • EFI based Framework knowledge is highly desirable
