Position               : Sr Java Developer

Location               : BIRSBANE, CA (Locals)

Duration               : Long Term

Required:

- Solid understanding and proven experience in building multi-threaded server side applications

- Proven experience of designing and building applications using Code Java

- Good understanding and proven experience with building distributed Java systems

- Knowledge and experience with Java frameworks like Strut/Springs/Tapestry etc.

- Strong OO & software design skills

- Solid understanding and proven experience with SOA technology

- Experience with Junit, or other Java application testing frameworks

- Previous involvement in the full lifecycle of several complex Java applications, with emphasis on early design and implementation

- Experience with Oracle, including use of PL/SQL stored procedures is desired. SQL is a must.

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years Unix/Linux experience

- 7+ years of experience of Java development

- Bachelor (or higher) degree in computer science, engineering, or closely related discipline

- Good communication Skills

Preferred:

- Excellent knowledge of at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, or Ruby)

- Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce development
