Positions: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Department: ToPS
Years of Experience: 4 - 5 Years
Reports to: Project Lead
Experience & Qualifications
I. Any Graduate from a recognized University with a minimum 60% aggregate.
II. Minimum 4 years experience in Software Testing in Web and Client Server Applications
III. Open to travel and must have a valid passport
Duties & Responsibilities
· Testing products using manual or automated methods depending on the product and the time schedule
· Ensure proper test environments are maintained and updated regularly
· Reporting defects and following them through the process until they are resolved. Tracking reoccurring defects and provide permanent solutions to streamline
· Informing management of project status and of any actual or anticipated problems or delays
· Developing test cases based on test guidelines provided
· Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
· Implementing quality assurance standards and processes throughout the organization
· Ensure quality deliveries to client, and take part in all phases of project
· Writing and maintaining manual and automation test scripts
Skills
· Strong Knowledge of manual testing and automated testing tools, preferably WinRunner, LoadRunner, Rational etc/
· Familiarity with Test Frameworks like NUnit, JUnit etc
· Strong Knowledge of programming in Microsoft Technologies and SQL server
· Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
· Ability to work in a team environment or alone
· Minimum supervision required
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Strong attention to detail
· Knowledge of SDLC
· Disciplined time, task and priority manager
