There will be a Written Test in aptitude followed by personal Interview.

All students are to be present at the venue by 9.00 am IST on the mentioned date in professional attire.

* No students will be allowed in the examination hall after 9.15 am.

The students appearing for the drive must carry Resume, certificates, college photo identity card and 2 passport size photographs. No students will be allowed without any of these.

Software Engineering Director - PI Technology [Hyderabad]

Engineering Division: PI Hyderabad

The Software Engineering Director will report to the head of Technology and will be directly responsible for the management of the PI Hyderabad location across multiple PI Product Lines within the corporate Engineering division. The scope encompasses software product development, software quality assurance, programme management, product support (second and third line) and process control. The role will participate and support policy making and establishing standards and common processes for system development standards, methods and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

-Management of the PI Hyderabad location and overseeing development teams in Hyderabad; software engineering, software quality assurance, project management and product support.
-Collaborate effectively with existing product line management
-Collaborating with Head of Technology in developing and delivering the Hyderabad roadmap.
-Define a costed and prioritised programme of any local projects which may be required to support the organizations objectives and strategic plans. Communicates information about the agreed programme, and how it supports the organization¿s objectives.
-Ensure that the programme of engineering work is implemented in a consistent and coherent manner, liaising as necessary with other IS teams and engineering divisions to ensure that planned systems developments are compatible with the organisation¿s existing systems, infrastructure and strategic plans.
-Oversees and assists product lines in the resourcing of the agreed teams taking full responsibility for the provision of resources and that they are properly utilised and accounted for.
-Development of the PI Hyderabad ¿Development Community¿ concept through to completion. Including collocation of all existing PI teams which are currently distributed.
-Ensure that systems and procedures for monitoring and reporting on the progress of engineering projects are in place and operated effectively, and that action is taken to deal with exceptions, problems and unforeseen events in a timely manner.
-Analyze product management and customer needs and marketing requests for feasibility, costs and effort. Approve customisation of core products from both technical and resourcing perspectives and oversee delivery of those solutions.
-Participate and contribute to IT policy making and in particular supporting the definition, implementation and evolution of an Application Enterprise Architecture. Promote the use of common application services, technologies and standards to increase product interoperability.
-Drive innovation and continuous improvement in methodology as well as product leadership through new features and productivity improvements.
-Participate and support the PI business at industry trade events as required to support business and marketing efforts.
-Remain abreast of technology and industry trends and regulations and provide advice and guidance to product development to ensure opportunities for the PI product lines are maximized.
-Take responsibility for PI Hyderabad personnel, overseeing, in association with their direct line managers as necessary, their recruitment, training and development.
-Effectively manage customer escalation issues requiring senior management involvement through to successful resolution.
-Contributes to policy making with respect to infrastructure procurement and standards.
-Maintain fiscal control of any designated budgets and ensure forecasts are provided in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Experience

-Previous commercial experience of working with large American and/or European software development businesses.
-Proven and demonstrable commercial experience of successful Project/Programme Management within the Software Development industry.
-In depth experience of running large multi-disciplined Software Development teams (50+ team size)
-Educated to Bachelors or Advanced degree level in software engineering or computer science.
-Proven track record of leading, managing and mentoring engineering teams and successful delivered commercial products to customers.
-Excellent organisational, leadership, decision making and communication skills.
-Excellent commercial Software Development background
-Strong project management skills, including an ability to prioritize tasks, communicate development plans and organise internal and external resources.
-Strong understanding of Clinical Trials market and the role of technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency and thereby competitive advantage for technology providers.
-Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills and dedicated to building a culture characterized by teamwork and a desire to meet customer's needs.
-Thorough experience of software development lifecycles, software quality and current development technologies.
-Robust technical background with high degree of experience in one or more specialist areas (e.g. database design, development, analysis & design, architecture, programme management)
