GENERAL TASKS & DUTIES

·         Analyze, gather requirements, design, develop, maintain and test all enterprise applications including company websites, product content delivery and management systems, collaboration sites, intranet applications etc
·         Complete development ownership of all afore-mentioned applications including all back-end systems and servers
·         Maintain and integrate all internal applications with all third party systems
·         Troubleshoot, test and provide support for all issues
·         Interface with all internal stakeholders including Operations, R&D, Product Management and Marketing as required
·         Work well in a structured but flexible environment conforming to CMM standards
·         Adhere to and fulfil all the principles of efficient & effective full software development lifecycle per project
·         Perform code reviews and due diligence, test scripting, modular, integration and regression testing
·         Maintain high degree of source control and management
·         Maintain and manage bug tracking, change requests and improvements logs
·         Deliver quality products, applications and/or solutions according to given project delivery milestones
·         Train users on new or modified web systems
·          Make recommendations for personal training & development

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

·         BE/B. Tech/MCA in Computer Science (equivalent or higher)
·         5+ years experience in listed Key Skills & Experience section
·         Strong communicator, proactive, self-starter, work on own initiative and with teams

Required Experience and Skills:
• Must have 6+ years solid technical experience, including managing software engineers in a product environment

• Serve as a mentor, knowledge resource, and escalation point for employees; Build credibility and trust within the group
• Candidate should be comfortable managing challenging and tenuous customer engagements
• Ability to triage customer issues/complaints/suggestions/requirements and work to solve the problem with different cross functional teams

Desired Experience and Skills:
• Operating system experience: Linux or FreeBSD
• A broad spectrum of programming languages, from machine-level (some assembly) to OO-based languages (Python/Java/C++), and everything in between (C/shell/Perl)
