Job Description:
We are looking to hire a Textile Engineer who evaluates possibility of industrial recycling different types of used clothing in our plant.
Although we would like to know the possibility of recycling all types of fabrics,
We are particularly keen to recycle Polyester and Nylon cloths.
Once recycling options for all types of clothing is presented, the management will decide types of fabrics for which recycling should be taken on priority.
Desired Profile:
Following should be scope of preliminary study:
Categorization: Develop different categories in which to divide used clothing.
Quantify: Monitor used clothing processed in our factory and to quantify approximate quantities.
Recycling Processes: Define potential recycling processes available for different types of fabrics.
Current Recycling in India: Define the current processes available in India to recycle used clothing.
Recycling in developed Countries: Define the processes available overseas to recycle clothing.
Potential Products: See what items can sell India or overseas for recycling.
Define Potential Markets: Define what kind of industries can we target to sell products made from recycling used cloths.
Once the management shortlist the types of cloths for recycling, the incumbent will have to do in-depth feasibility study for setting up industrial recycling unit, including cost-benefit analysis.
The Engineer will be at forefront of setting up the entire recycling plant and to keep looking at avenues to recyle more products to improve our company’s bottom line.
