Workshop Objective
The objective of this HR Functional Technical Competence module is to comprehend and analyze the components of compensation and benefits to employees, and to learn how leading companies are designing new strategies and implementing creative compensation programs which are driving immediate results for long-term sustainability in this complex environment.
Desired Target Participants:The program will be designed for HR Practitioners with 3-7 years work experience. The workshop will enable you to understand case study based practitioners approach to compensation from the corporate point of view and the right and effective methods to managing these compensation plans so that your organization rewards the right staff the right way.

The Faculty:Dr. Asit Mohapatra- Director HR-Textiles, Raymond Ltd.
Dr. Asit Mohapatra is a Production Engineer. He has done his post graduation in Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and Ph D from the Central University, Aligarh Muslim University.
He has 30 years of work experience in the areas of Human Resources Management, Quality, Industrial Engineering and Employee Relations in reputed Indian and Multinational Companies. He has been responsible for the HR functions in various Industry segments like Manufacturing, Engineering, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food Retail, Information Technology and Financial Services.
He started his career in Tata Motors in the year 1980 and worked for fourteen years. He then moved to ICICI Bank as Vice President – HR. Subsequently, he joined the multinational pharmaceutical company, Parke Davis, as Director- Human Resources. He also worked as V P- HR and Quality with Blue Star, Sr. Vice President – HR with Jubilant Organosys etc. Before joining his current job, he was working as Sr. VP-HR at Reliance Retail heading the pan India HR operations of their mega Retail venture.
Currently, he is working as Director HR-Textiles at Raymond Ltd. He is responsible for the HR functions of the eight manufacturing units , Sales & Marketing Division and International Business covering more than 11000 employees.
Dr. Mohapatra has been trained in Japan and USA in the area of Human Resources Management. He is accredited as a Management Teacher by All India Management Association. He is certified to conduct psychological tests like MBTI, Thomas Profiling and Predictive Index (PI). He is also certified as a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). He has been trained as an Executive Coach.
He is a Life Member of the National HRD Network. He is also a Fellow Member of The Institution of Engineers and Member of the All India Management Association.
