Job Description

Our Storage Components Division is looking for a creative and self motivated Hardware Design Engineer to join our Bangalore team who will excel at creating superb products from inception through design to product integration. This individual will work closely with LSI’s Firmware and System engineering teams as they together resolve design related questions and issues critical to our customer’s success. 

The successful candidate will have strong hardware design and debug analysis skills, demonstrate strong simulation debug skills, demonstrate strong lab silicon validation skills and able to read firmware (C, C++) to understand interaction with the hardware. 

Given the highly collaborative nature of this position you should enjoy working in a team focused environment and have strong interpersonal communication skills. 

Additional desired experiences include: 
• Command of the Verilog RTL language and ability to understand gate-level Netlist 
• Debug simulations using all EDA vendor simulators 
• Analysis of FPGA and Palladium emulation results 
• SAS, SATA, PCIe, DDR
