Job Description:

Majoris is looking for a senior engineer with strong Core Java skills, expert knowledge of open source technologies and frameworks for support, development. This person would be part of Engineering offshore team and will work primarily on (but not limited to) development and Support of Eclipse RCP based Hybrid Container framework. Associate is also expected to work on other frameworks like Gecko, Basis, SOA and the websphere farm depending on the work demand.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand existing Hybrid Container framework code ( Java, eclipse RCP, Lotus expeditor ), setup development environments and be able to make enhancements and fix issues depending on project needs.
  • Able to make independent decisions on design and coding standards. Understand system architecture of applications on QA and production systems.

The ideal candidate will have IT conceptual knowledge, be able to sell offshore services, and generate a new client base. Key responsibilities will include account penetration, development, management, and increasing breadth and depth through the promotion and sales of IT Services Solutions and to a broad range of emerging mid-market/mid-enterprise customers. This includes territory prospecting, client relationship and customer satisfaction management, proposal development, and closing opportunities. The successful candidate will have a background in conceptual selling and solution sales with IT product and industry knowledge. Additionally, candidate must have experience in managing accounts, obtaining executive sponsorship, and have familiarity with territory and account management methodologies. Solutions include: Professional Services and Project engagements, Onshore and Offshore Outsourcing, Technology Assessments, Application Development, Quality Assurance and Testing, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehousing.
